THE FUTURE OF THE WORKING EQUITATION IN ENGLAND

João Ralão Duarte, Chairman of the WAWE, and Claudia Matos were in England on the 24th October to discuss the future of the Working Equitation with the representatives of the entities for the discipline in this country.

The meeting was held in friendly and objective way. The representatives of the UK Working Equitation and the ones from the Working Equitation of Great Britain decided to create a new entity named Association of British Working Equitation which will be responsible for the promotion and development of the discipline in the British territory.

The Association of British Working Equitation will be also responsible, among other issues, for supervising the internal competitions, supporting the participation in international competitions and to promote a closer approaching to the British Horse Society.

The working equitation potential deserves all efforts of the entities involved.

The WAWE is very grateful for the positive spirit and cooperation shown by all entities for the growth of the discipline in this country.
